Week 9: Mildcats

Thanks Kitties!  Hawkeye defense now with 2 Big Ten shutouts (and counting).  Sure, we would have liked something like 48-0, but with the Iowa defense giving nothing to the Cats, we did not really need to run up the score.    Oh, and last week, they feel to Indiana 34-3.  Meow indeed.

So the Hawkeyes were able to move to 2-0 division with a low stress game, then slide into the bye week and watch the chaos unfold from the comfort of their clubhouse.  Including the Huskers falling again, this time to Purdue.  Ouch.  Ha!

And gameplan.   The Badgers looked unbeatable for the first half.  Then they let Illinois rally and Ohio State smash them.  Hence two Big 10 losses.  And here come the Hawkeyes.  Bringing the defense.

WEEK 11: Badgers

The Badgers began the season running to 6-0 and having very little trouble doing it.   They started with USF, a 49-0 Badger win.  Then Central Michigan, and 61-0 this time.

They then hosted then #11 Michigan, and the Badgers won that 35-14.  A week later, it was a bit more of a struggle against the Mildcats, winning 24-15.  They then finished up the non-con slate with a visit from Kent State, which the Badgers won 48-0.
