Week 6: Michigan

Well, that was sure a frustrating game.  The defense, it played well enough to win.  The offense, and the coaching, however, left much to be desired.

From the first snap of the game, the Sargent lost fumble, the Hawks were behind the 8 ball.  But the defense held, holding Michigan to a field goal.

On the next Michigan possession that had that 51 yard pass (only threw for 140 on the day) that lead to the 2 yard rushing TD, and the Hawks were down 10-0 midway thru the 1st.  But the Iowa defense would not allow Michigan one more point.

Nate, 3 interceptions - one a great play by a D back, the others, not the best place to put the ball.  Pair that with the lost fumble and Iowa had 4 turnovers, only getting 1 from Michigan on the pick by Stone. Sadly he could not take that back for the tying TD.
