Week 2: Rutgers

Well when I wrote that the Hawkeye defense would give up 165 yards to Rutgers, I was being generous! As the Iowa D smothered them to a grand total of 125.  Just 47 in the air (Rutgers benched the senior QB at half and put in a redshift freshman, same result) and just 78 on the ground, the longest run by Rutgers was 10 yards.  Just 10 of 27 passes competed, with two of them picked off, one from each QB.
