Week 7: Northwestern

Here is your recap for the Mildcat game:

Sad kitties, indeed.

So, at some point after I left for the bar two Saturdays back, my trusty (heh) Time Warner Cable dvr reset itself, and then failed to record the Iowa Northwestern game.  Oh for the days I can have my Directv again…

We will recap some of the player results in the preview section.  What was a close game at halftime (16-10), was not in the 2nd half.  How glorious it was to see the Hawkeye running game in the 4th quarter, the poor kitties almost looking like they wanted to get out of the way of the Iowa fullbacks smashing through the O line.  It was a wonderful sight.

So the Hawks went into the bye week with a 7-0 record and a #12 AP ranking.  But then during our off week a few teams ahead of us lost, and so now we return to the field back in the Top 10, at #10.
