The Eternal Season - Tuesday August 30th

Good Evening, TES Friends!

Tuesday evening, meaning tomorrow is Hump Day, once clear of that, the weekend comes into view! And WHAT a weekend it is!  Football starting Thursday night!

A light sporting day here at TES, we had the US Open on in the background while working on our Hawkeye Football Game Notes.  FYI for long time readers, those will go out via email and be posted on the blog tomorrow.  3 days, 15 hours, and 40 minutes until the Hawks take the field!

Because today is a light sports day, I wanted to take a moment to say hello to my readers and thank you.  My stats tell me that I have had repeat viewings in the Netherlands, China, Russia, and the UK, besides my friends here in the States.  Could you guys do me a favor?  Leave a comment to the blog, let me know who you are, where you are, and what your love of sports entails.  Especially interested to hear from anyone overseas, as I wonder how a sports fan fills their calendar when a nation doesn't have as many pro or collegiate seasons as we have here.  Or maybe they do, I'm just not aware of major college sports outside of North America.  What sports and teams do you love?

And if you have any suggestions on how you think The Eternal Season could be different or better, by all means, you can leave those comments as well!

That's it for tonight!  Tomorrow the Game Notes will be posted in the evening, that's a big enough post you won't want me to type anything else, so TES will be back in its regular form on Thursday.  Have a wonderful night - or day, if you are on the other side of the globe!

The love of sports is shared across the generations, and there are few things as fun as debating the merits of certain players, strategies, and team histories with other, opposing sports nuts. If you are an all around sports fan, feel free to join the ride, and please comment/vent whenever you feel you need to.
