BLONDIES SPORTS 212 West 79th, (Broadway/Amsterdam).
1 train to 79th street, half a block east.  Several parking garages are nearby.
NOTE: If sitting on bar stools/standing for 3 hours is not ideal for you, we will be reserving a couple tables on the restaurant side of Blondies.  I cannot guarantee that you will have Iowa audio on that side, however - especially once the Big 10 season starts.

Last Week: Northwestern
If this was not the most painful loss in the Ferentz era, I’m not sure what game supplants it. Imagine – the Hawks had no turnovers and picked off two Wildcat passes.  Young ran for a career best 202 yards and Tate passed for 276, and for 55 minutes the game was securely in hand.  Yet when the recap of this season is written it will again center on our failure to get 1st downs when needing to run out the clock, ultimately costly field goal misses, and our inability to get the defensive stops that we have made game in and game out back to 2002 that have doomed us to a mid Big 10 finish.  If we can somehow win the last two games we might – might avoid bowling in Detroit and get to take a trip to sunnier Texas.  But as we now know there are no gimmies anywhere to be found on the 2005 schedule, and the hype the Hawks run into this weekend will be substantial.
